Is it safe to run motor with no O2's
Its a LY6, straight headers right now, wondering if i can drive it to the exhaust shop with the O2's disconnected, will it run right and is it safe?

Can't say as i have tried it but....
When you first start your engine up you are running rich and in open loop...the computer is ignoring your oxygen sensors because they haven't heated up yet. O2 sensors have a heater built-in to them which is needed for the sensor head to properly put out a millivolt signal that is proportional to the amount of oxygen its head is exposed to in your exhaust stream.
My vote is no...it wont hurt it...it will get horrible mileage. It should mimick a carbed engine with the choke stuck on once the engine is warmed up enough to where it should have gone into closed loop mode.

you could buy the O2 sensor wiring harness extenders and plug them in before driving to the shop; they are going to have to install these when you get there anyway and it only takes about 5 minutes to plug everything in. You will know how well it runs without them only by trying; no one can predict exactly what will happen with your specific setup.
