Default monster level 3

anyone having a problem with squeeling when letting the clutch out? the first 5k miles it didn't make a sound. Now it sounds horrible.

did you replace the throwout bearing when you did your clutch?

new throw out bearing..it makes the sound when it makes contact with the pressure plate and flywheel.im about ready to pull it out and go with a different brand.

How long have you had it for? I would give monster a call and see if they have any feedback. They are good guys to deal with.

it has right around 5k on it if that..i daily drive it so its probably glazed.it dosent slip but it make that terrible sound and its embarrising.

My monster 3 does it to. Usually only when it is cold. Clutch holds great though. I probably have 7k on it

I've heard of this before actually with a spec clutch my friend had in his C5. Being I hate spec and their customer service it pains me to say when cold out the clutch made noise yes. However it held in his near 600rwhp car for 3 years and 20k+miles I'd be willing to bet your clutch is gonna do the same thing.

mine does it when it's hot.when cold dosen't make a sound.

This is a common problem with single disk clutches rated to handle lots of power. Monster's typical response to this is that there's a glaze built up on the friction disk and that you need to go beat the **** out of the clutch to wear it off. I've had similar experiences with a Textralia, and a few hard launches at the track cleared up the squeal and the chatter.
