Default New Setup Is Acting Very Homo........!!!

ok guys i just got my pcm back today tuned by Solomon and for the life of me i cant get this thing to idle cause its running pig rich.i have to hold the pedal at 1200rpm just for it to run smooth but as soon as i let off the pedal it stalls out.i fouled out 2 sets of brand new plugs today...pitch black and u guys know how much of a hassle that is.i unplugged the o2 sensors to put it keep it in open loop...no difference.unplugged the Maf for speed density...no difference.car is billowing black smoke out the pipes and im tired of ruining plugs

no exhaust leaks
car has 230/236 112lsa cam
brand new opti
new ngk plugs
new plug wires
i have no vaccuum leaks watsoever
even put a brand new coolant temperature sensor on..no difference
i triple checked the timing marks before i buttoned up the timing cover
fuel pressure is within spec

what else can i possibly check before i start looking torwards the "tuner"

ive been waiting and waiting putting this car together..i really want to get this car on the road

as far as i know the injectors are the stock 24lb.for some reason im thinking everything is fine on my end...but i dont want to start pointing fingers because thats not really my style

my buddy has a very very similar setup to me but his pcm went to a different tuner and its been problem free for him since the first fire up after the cam swap..this car has been nickling and diming me crazy nd i feel i should be further along than what i am at this moment

You're going to have to datalog it under those conditions to see what's going on. Record it then send it to Ion to see if he can help you.

at first i was thinking it had to do with the Bosch o2 sensors i bought, but i unplugged them with no change so as far as i know the bosch brand is no longer a factor now.

i borrowed a buddies scanner tonight but wont crank the car till tomorrow...too noisy.but i plugged it up to check codes..only had 1 which was the MAF..but thats from me unplugging it.

question....the scanner was showing my o2 sensors after the cat are both reading .44volts....is it suppose to be showing voltage even tho they are deleted in the tune?

If your friends car is VERY close, try his PCM if you can. That would eliminate that variable.

I had a similar issue with my car after a mail order tune. My car wouldn't stall out at idle, but it was pig rich and ran like hammered dog ****. It was barley driveable with the 42lb injectors, put the stockers in so I could drive it to get dyno tuned. Once the tuner hooked up to the car it showed that the mail order guy pretty much changed nothing. after the dyno tune car ran great and i picked up 40rwhp and 35ft/lbs of torque. If you don't find any issues with the car and it seems like the tune I reccomend getting a dyno tune. The mail orders are way to hit and miss!

ok guys i think im on to something.even tho i was unplugging the maf and all i decided to look into the maf anyway and found something.no voltage on the pink wire at the maf at all...0v

i have continuity to ground on the black wire
it has 5v reference from the pcm
but 0v on the pink 12v supply for it....

what fuse do i need to be looking at?
and out of curiousity if this doesnt have voltage what else doesnt?

i have a 96 z28 m6 if that helps....

Are you running an aftermarket throttle body? If so...I had to adjust my IAC/butterfly opening.
