Is it possible to get them out without taking the whole dash apart? The one by the driver side door was easy because its just attached to the guage cover? Any tricks? Let me know thanks..

The vent covers? If that's what you mean I just pulled them out in 3 pieces.

Pull off the slat adjuster then the slats and finally lever up the two tabs and rock the back piece out.

I literally just did this in my garage 15 minutes ago.

Not sure what it is called exactly but the when i bought the car the covers(the part that you put your finger on to open/close the AC vents) is white. Well, they are dirty and ugly and i want to repaint them.. Just not sure how to take them off for repaint. Dont want to brake anything since its plastic.. Thought i would get some ideas first. thanks.

Nevermind.. Three broke and two came off.. Just brittle i guess. How much the cost from GM?
