Default Should I go with an OEM or Aftermarket Aux adaptor for my Kennwood head unit?

As the title says... should I go withe the OEM adapter or should I go with an aftermarket brand? What worries me the most if the loss of sound quality when going from the OEM to the aftermarket brands. As you can see in the examples below, the OEM is thicker. The last one is good because I don't need to buy any additional cables, but I'm worried that I might loose sound quality due to the skinny/flimsy cables.

What do you guys say?

I have have a Kenwood Ez600 head unit.

The OEM Auxiliary adapter that connects to the CD changer port is the Kenwood CA-C1AUX.

It costs $19.00 shipped and I still have to buy the RCA cables for my ipod.

Here's an aftermarket adapter

$6.00 shipped and I still need to buy the RCA cables for my ipod.

Here's another

$7.00 shipped and I won't need to buy RCA cables.

x2 on aftermarket unless you can find oem cheaper. Im not familiar with your radio but a lot of kenwoods for a period came with built in aux ports in the back of the radio, it looks like a headphone jack, not to be confused with a smaller mic jack on some models. If thats the case you just be able to buy a mini to mini cable and be done with it.
