Default converter/trans
i am doing another swap and need info on converters and trans. can i use a 4l60 converter with a 700r4? if so, will this bolt up to a 01 5.3 without having to use a spacer?

I/m pretty sure the late style 700R4 converter will fit the same as a 4L60. The early 700's have 27 spline inputs vs. the 30 splines on later versions. Can't remember when the switch happened, I think around '84...
