Idle Question? When I drive my car, it runs great, but whenever I stop for a red light or stop signs, it idles at 1000 rpms for a couple seconds, then it goes to normal. Is this normal, or what could it be?

Hi,check throttle cable first.........you can do it!!!!!!!!check plastic square housing on cable near oil dip stick.....volt meter set to ohms and get readings....
Throttle blade hole 5/16-5/32 any larger more air than you need for stock cam.
Check cable at intake/tb manually move it. I used an additional small spring to pull my cable and increase throttle pressure..tps/iac two screw in each one.
Give them a good cleaning and reinstall. Perhaps cures problems for you.
Vacuum test is easy and tells you alot about engine....lastly a tuner can adjust for you if all is ok........let me know jim
