traction problem
so I have a ls1 z28 with 338hp at the wheels. I want to have far better grip. My suspension is stock besides a spohn torque arm. Are tires the only route or can I do something else for more grip? The wheels are factory 245/50/16

Sure different suspension mods will definetely help. As far as the tires, are they the stock all season tires? If so, then i would suggest some high performance summer tires.

I switched from 275 khumos where I had crappy traction, could spin threw first and could break traction in second if I got on it from a cruise, also had issues getting on the gas around corners
I run 315 nitto drag radials on the street now and couldnt be happier they perform like a street tire and have amazing grip. I cant even get the tires to bark when I get on it in first anymore and a hard shift to second only gets a little more than a chirp now. the new felt acceloration is great and going around curves under throttle is way more fun

So I guess really just tires as a traction solver, are there any that grip well that also drive decent in the rain. I heard the nittos dont drive in the rain to good.
