Default Monsoon SS Front Speaker Replacement

Hello,

I recently bought a 2002 SS with the stock Monsoon. The front two speakers are blown. I read WhiteBird00's awesome thread on the Monsoon system. I don't want to locate tweeters and don't want them to be visible. Since the car is stock inside, that's the way I want it to stay. I saw the speakers are components, but is there a way to put a coaxial set of speakers in it? Also, I'd like to find the right efficiency so that I don't lose volume since the aftermarket ones are 4ohm.

Thank you

Your best bet is to contact Kee Audio (a sponsor here) about CDT speakers. They are component speakers mounted coaxially like the stock ones but they sound much better.

I just sent them an email about purchasing the front two. Hopefully I can go with a full set! Thank you for all your help
