Default 4l80e swap question

I'm swapping a 4l80e and a s60 rearend into my 2002 camaro and need to know what the length for the driveshaft would be I'm ordering a 3inch chromoly strange ds but they want the length but I haven't gotten the trans or rear yet any info would be greatly appreciated...

well i've found that the 4l80e is about 1/16th longer then the 4l60e so i should be able to just have them take off that much more for the swap my tranny will be from a 91-96 core couldn't find if the length was any different from year to year

I just installed a 4l80e into a 69 camaro and I'm pretty sure it's way more than a 16th difference. I think you should intall it first, then double check your measurement.

Why would you take a chance on f#$king up an $400 shaft? Why not just wait and do it right?

I am lol. But being he brought up the subject I figure if someone can put me on point then ya me, lol. I don't have a problem waiting tho.

Sorry but I don't trust anyone's measurements but my own, especially on a part that critical.
