No heat, anyone any ideas
Bought a 94 z28 a4. they bypassed the heater core because it was leaking. I get the car home replaced the heater core, hooked everything back up, i still get no heat. Im not sure what to look into now, if anyone could point me in some other direction, just something else to look for thatd be great! thanks!

I don't think they are cable driven (if I remember right). If it's electrical I'd start easy and check fuses and such. If the heater was never used the flapper door could be stuck too.

If its not the cable then I would look to make sure the cooling system is properly bled. Those LT motors are sometimes finicky to get all the air out of the system and the heater core is usually the first place to get an air pocket and not put any heat out.

I'm having the same problem when its really cooled outside my heater don't blow hot air at all but when its 40 degrees or warmer my heater works fine what could cause it to act like that

orange coolant likes to gum up. squeeze the hoses in and out of the heater core several times. if theres a blockage sometimes this will fix it temporarily. then you know you just need to flush the system.

It has green coolant in it I wont use dex cool it screws your motor up I have a 160 therma state in it and I noticed today that it starts to try to over heat when its warmer outside like today it got up to 81 and I've bleed the system acouple times already also I've noticed that I'm loosing coolant some how to
