If you don't already have one you will need a wideband o2 sensor for accurate readings. Stock o2 sensors are narrowband. A wideband will come with instructions on hooking it up.

There are "AFR gauges" that use the stock sensor and
give you a bar-graph LED display. These are "for
entertainment only". If it needs a LSU-4 sensor then it
will not be just a matter of vampire-taps to the wiring
harness and you'll have spent at least $200 for it.

You could hypothetically use a gauge on a narrowband sensor, and you could tune on one as well.

Is it worth it? Not really. Narrowbands are not very accurate. They Are only accurate at 14.7:1. Anything above and below I'd not accurate, hence the need for a wideband.

Here are many places that sell kits with the sensor, gauge, and perhaps other goodies.

Just to clairify the only correct way to install AF gauge is, you leave the stock sensors alone and weld in new wide band O2 sensor?

Thanks

No, you can use existing bungs or weld in new ones. You have spots for 4 O2 sensors, only 2 of which are needed, which leaves you with 2 extra spots to put a wideband in. Do NOT use a stock O2 sensor and wire a gauge to it. You would have better luck drawing a number out of a hat to get a AFR reading. You need a wideband sensor, which comes with a lamba controller to wire the gauge to. Gauge included, its about a $200 setup for the basic models.

I would just have one welded in, very easy, closer to the header the better. In most cases right after the car is the best avalible space. Let the stockers do their thing, unless you turn off the rears and rely on the upstreams (before the cat)

Just bought the Camaro with Procharger, but previous owner tapped into stock O2's and gauge is all over the place, bouncing around driving me crazy. The QTP longtube headers don't seem to have extra Bungs so I'll get it welded in. Tks

Have it drilled and welded before the collector, you will be fine.

I think you mean IN the collector or AFTER it. If you installed it before the collector, you would be installing it in a primary and only measuring the AFR of 1 cylinder.
