Default Any benefit from a 6AL box on a N/A engine?

Just curious as I found a spare one I "forgot" about in my garage...thoughts?

I have heard mixed reviews, on the box burning opti's up, but I don't know for sure.

I think the general conensus is that its not worth the price but shouldnt harm anything but if you have one i would run it

No.

Many times they are more trouble than they are worth. The stock ignition (properly setup) can handle it. I have a stock AC Delco optispark, MSD wires and a stock-type coil and it works great.

I run the MSD Digital 6 on my bolt on car with no problems so far. I can't say that it gave me any performance gains, but it gives me a timing retard for the spray.

I'm running a basic mallory box that I put on while I was chasing down a miss. Figured it couldn't hurt to have a stronger spark.
