I am so done with winter it was great to get out and make some laps with the new car. Picked this up in December and swapped all the bolt ons over from my '98 T/A plus I added a set of stock 243 heads and a Comp 224/230 cam (.581/.592 lift, 114 LSA)
Anyway, got 5 passes in today
11.698 @ 114.23 w/1.563 60ft
11.805 @ 114.62 w/1.660 60ft
11.731 @ 115.00 w/1.610 60ft
11.693 @ 114.97 w/1.577 60ft
11.680 @ 115.14 w/1.581 60ft
Track wasnt great, spun on the 2nd and 3rd pass, and neither was the weather but I was just excited to be back out on the track :)

Thanks, I'm pleased with the 60ft but want to play with the suspension a bit to look for some more consistency. Went out to a couple of bracket races this past weekend and went 4 rounds on Sat but only 2 on Sunday due to a -.023 redlight  But the 60fts varied by .03 and I'd like to get that down a little. On Sat it went between 1.56-1.59 at etown and Sun it was 1.58-1.61 at atco with a hint of wheelspin.

Thanks guys :burn:
Yeah that was an awsome side by side run, .007 apart at the stripe or around 14 inches how cool is that :) Your car runs real strong. Come up with Pete for the GM EFI races it's 4 events this year and always a good time.
The car comes in around 3820-3830 raceweight with 1/2 tank of gas. I like to start with a 1/2 tank of gas in a bracket race so I know I should not need to add gas during the day. On my first day out however I had less than 1/4 tank and it came in at 3785-3790. I wish it was lighter :(
Best 1/8th mile was 7.378 at 91.74mph on my 11.65 run with a 1.589 60ft. It's only run in the 7.3's twice so far, most of the runs are in the mid to low 7.4's between 90-91mph.
The suspension is 100% stock in the front except for KYB AGX struts. In the rear it's UMI tunnel mount torque arm, roto-joint trailing arms and panhard bar, drag sway bar, 3 point bolt in subframe connectors, and KYB AGX shocks with stock springs. Tires are M/T ET Street Radials 255/50R16.
The rear has relocation brackets with 4 positions and I currently have the arms in the 3rd hole down but I'm gonna move them to the 2nd hole and see how that goes this Sat. I ran them in the 2nd hole all last year in my '98 and it seemed to work well but wanted to try and see how lowering them would work but never got to try it on that car so I figured I'd start this car off that way and go from there.

Hey Steve! I just picked up an LS1 car myself:) Nice times! I dont think mine will see much track time though....the GF drives it 60 miles round trip to work, so she prefers the quiet exhaust, 2.73 gears etc. Kinda sucks but oh well lol
