Default Is it a WS6

So I have heard some things about how to tell if a car is a true WS6 or not, but a they were different. Is there a way to be absolutely sure if a car is a WS6 or not?

Check the RPO codes, on LS1 models the sheet is on the drivers door and on LT1 models the sheet is in the glovebox. If its a true WS6 it will say it on the RPO sheet.

GM started putting the RPO decal on the door in 96, so all WS6's will have it on the door.

Unless like mine, it was hit and the door skin was replaced. My RPO decal is in a little plastic ziplock bag safe in a file drawer in my office.

If for some reason the decal is missing, you can have a dealer run the VIN to get a list of RPOs for the car, or run the vin here and check yourself.
