Personally I like mine for both...with my 2.73 gears I can run first out to around 60mph and 2nd to nearly 100 so from a roll it works well...with my converter i end up having to baby it out of the hole though so from a stop its not great...daily driving its not thee most fun to just drive an auto but hey the wife can still drive it at least which is a good thing, i guess

BUILT auto is better than M6, stock auto I feel is about the same as M6....Nothing is as consistent, fast, or fun (IMHO) as a built auto with good converter.

Auto with an aftermarket torque converter is a lot of fun! Owns at the drag strip!

Since I have both transmissions, my preference is for a M6 on the street and all around get up and go. Simply can't beat the fun factor of rowing your own gears! However, at the track the automatic will be the dominate setup. Manually shifted automatics are kinda nice as well, but you don't quite row them like you would a regular clutch shifted tranny. Much nicer to have a clutch in that respect!

I like the auto for both. i could see where a 6 spd would be fun but its also fun with a big converter in an auto to just roast the tires off. I think its the fact that people dont think that an auto is fast too
