Default Aftermarket Oil Pressure Sending Unit Inaccurate?

Have you guys ever have oil pressure go up when installing an oem oil pressure sending unit? I installed an aftermarket one and it seem to be reading lower, can this be the issue?

Default

possibly a difference in the manufacturing co. I always prefer OEM senders when replacing because they were designed to work with the oem gauges.
