Default Oil in cold side piping

The oil pump on the turbo kit went out and the oil got past the seals. Now the exhaust and all the cold side piping are full of oil.

What is the best stuff I can use to clean the pipes with? Engine degreaser, soap & water, Simple Green, Sea Foam etc.?

Dish soap and water or simple green should work well.

This has happened to me countless times... Into the dp and into the charge pipes...

dp I clean very carefull around where my o2 is and then rinse many many times.

charge pipes I used dish soap and rinsed until I saw no more residue or bubbles and then I rinse many more times after that too.

I had issues with my scavenger pump once time, and I was doing this **** several times a week.

If it's purple power something, DON'T use it on any aluminum parts as it will damage them. If any of your piping is aluminum use simple green as it is safer.

Read the bottle as they say not to use on Aluminum.

Lucky I had not cleaned them with the Purple stuff before I read that. I was at the track so I postponed cleaning the pipes.

The pipes are aluminized steel so they might have got damaged. I went to the local hardware store and bought some generic stuff that is supposed to be just like Simple Green. I took off the piping and the pipes were ok looking but the silicone couplers were full of oil along with the intercooler. It seems as though the oil migrated towards the lowest points in the system that is why the pipes looked clean but the couplers holding them together had oil.

BTW. it is a rear mount kit so there is a lot of work to clean them all, lol.
