Question gear lash sound. Is it normal?

Hey All. I dont know if its a problem or not but I can hear the gears in my transmission/shifter at a very low almost grinding or gear mesh sound when driving in every gear and in neutral with clutch pedal being let out. Never gets very loud but I can hear it if I have the radio off. If I push the shifter around slightly also when in gear or neutral, it will sometimes diminish the sound a little. Sound like a particular bearing that might be going bad?

Thanks for the suggestions!

mine did that also. turned out my pilot bearing was demolished. it could also be something as simple as your factory shift handle rattling.
