Default truck intake EGR

I started pulling the new motor apart and have a question already. On a truck intake when you pull off the EGR value it also attaches to the intake. I pulled it off but now is there a plate that I can make to cover the hole? Do you even need to cover the hole if not I will it looks bad. Also where can I get a photo of all the sensors and what they are before I start unplugging the harness I like to mark them

You can put a reg. vacuum plug inside the hole then epoxy over it. Or make a cap for the plug out metal and use a bolt to retain it using the hole that held the valve.

I tapped it and put a allen headed set screw/bolt in it like below. I just covered it in some fuel safe sealant.
