Looking good as always! One of the few 5th gens I am just a little bit jealous of...

You really need to look into some subframe bushings and differential bushings. From what I have been reading trailing arms etc are far less effective when the rear cradle is moving in the first place. I have some in hand but just waiting to install them at the moment. Got a killer deal on the energy components. I found them for like 260 shipped for the cradle and diff bushings....great deal. Let me know if your interested and I'll let you know where I got them.

Waiting for some 555 Nitto DR's Like I am?

I still cant find any stock. I need the 305/35/20.

Let me know if you find any before I do.

I seen some on ebay a little while back but they were asking an extra 100 dollars or so over regular price.

I bought the Pedders cradle inserts....I'm holding off on the diff bushings as some people are saying to leave the OEM ones in place and upgrade everything else.

Yup, like you I'm looking for those Nittos......they are like the holy grail!!!

I was questioning getting the diff mounts because I have heard they can cause some vibrations and the install is a bitch. I guess we will see how bad the cabin noise is. I can tolerate a bit...but Ill pull them for the stockers or the BMR streets if the Energies are too stiff.

Well looks like we are in luck. I just called discount tire direct and they said they have 10 sets of the 305/35/20 coming in Monday March 7. I didnt ask about the 275/40/20.

I bought two with the heat cycling shipped for 597 (heat cycling is 15 per tire)

Jump on it.

Here's what I read :
" I don't think differential bushings help and might encourage breakage. The stock bushings absorb some of the wheel hop. Saves axles, rear end and drive shaft. Do replace front and rear drive shaft bolts with stronger bolts and definitely use loctite. Do replace differential bushing bolts with larger OD size bolts to prevent shaking. "

I have read some mixed opinions...but it seems like most agree they are a good thing. danhr (who is kind of a dick but knows his stuff) posted shortly after talking about the differential moving and thorwing the pinion angle off etc. which will cause breakage.

My biggest worry is the NVH after install.

Car looks good, I think it was at World of Wheels this past weekend as part of the Straightline display?

The car itself wasn't there....but the post cam dyno pull was running on a video loop on the monitor he had set up there.

Oh yeah I saw it on the monitor. Maybe they had an IOM SS there though too. Did you have do all your chassis mods too? Did they align it there?

I did all the suspension work myself....my buddy owns Gary's Wheel Alignment in Schiller Park, he did the alignment for me per Pdaft specs.

I'm curious about your audio mods.......i'm about to buy a 2011 SS manual...I noticed the deck and air controls appear on the same face and I like the look so I was hoping I didn't have to put an aftermarket deck mainly for the sub and amp I'll be installing..does the factory system have the wiring harness and ability to put the sub and amp on it's own circuit? you usually to have to buy an aftermarket deck to control the sub base seperately

I did the engine cover myself.

It's a Barton......the dash lights I added in myself, GM left them out for some reason.
