No the part # that you listed is so boost does not go to the modulator when vacuum is not present. What this part does is basically dump boost pressure out of the system so the trans does not see to much pressure. If you wanted to eliminate the vac-mod kit that is in your trans you will need to convert back to an epc solenoid and you might need to get a new harness depending if the builder modified it. Vince

Yes it would be the easiest solution. If possible install a gauge after the blow off valve to double check that you are not getting boost past it. If you do get a second valve and run it right behind the first. I recommend this for application where the boost numbers are in the double digits. Vince

I want to clarify my post above about installing a gauge. This will only be for testing purposes to verify that boost is not going to the modulator. Converting back to epc is not a bad idea however I think getting a couple blow off valves will be easier for you. If you do decide to convert back you will have to plug the hole in the case for the pass through connector using a pipe plug, get the epc, a bracket to mount it and the bolt to attach it to the valve body. In addition, depending if the builder modified the harness with a resister, you might have to get a new internal wiring harness. HTH Vince
