Default New trans am..few mods

Picked up an 01' T/a, 78K on the clock. Has a FTRA kit, SLP LM1 catback, slp lid, bellows and a K&N. Those are the known, the MAF and TB look stock. Are 12's possible with good shifts and decent traction on street tires? M6

I would say low 13s. With headers and some DR's you could do mid 12s as long as you shift decently.

Edit: where do you run at?

I'm scared about DR's, I know my warrenty covers the 10-bolt, but still, thats a while the car is down for. Shifting shouldn't be a big issue after the first run or two. Headers are in the works with an ORY

Possible yes but if you ran a 15.x with your old car im not so sure you will get 12's with this one.

Well, that was with a huge list of mods compared to this..most of those I didn't bother to list, I had basically a manifold back exhaust, i wasn't up to buying $300 worth for a V6 which would only net me like 9-12 at the wheels, I had 3.42's and a lid, ftra, and self made smooth bellows
