so it was a toss up,
whether to bring the snow mobile for early test & tune before the snow melted.......

I heard rumor that they are finally going to replace all the rotten *** wood on the stands, I hope they clean it up a little... They where very proud of the new paint in the bathrooms for the last shootout race..

X2,X3,X4 on that one, I took my buddies 68 pro street camaro up there to do a shake down after some work and thought something broke when I hit them the first time...

i have had a few close calls there.......
in my 2000 ss m6 with 350rwhp hitting 3rd gear with the goodyears on the rear & i shook & slid,drifting right until i had to let up.
in my 69 nova first trip to the track on the very first run with the car,i came out to hard for not knowing the car & everything was new & it shot left on launch,like 1 tire heated up & the other didnt & i was in the left lane & almost hit the wall......it had a big block with a 400 trans with a 5000 stahl & trans brake.
in my GN i was the 1st one up to the tree that evening,we do our burn outs & line up & the starter stops us & tells us to back up a few yards.
so we do for about a half hour because the tree was malfunctioning........they could not get it to work & gave us a rain check & told us to go home......i said ok but i am gonna make a run.....the starter said cool & flagged for us.
well we never heated up are tires & i made it out about 100' & the car shifted right when it hit good boost & broke loose in second & sent me across both lanes & almost hitting the guy in the other lane.

I think there is no middle of the road when they put VHT down, they either spray the hell out of it or they dont touch it. I wonder how bad it will hurt them if FortWayne gets a track???
