What is this sensor? Pic inside

Its kind of funny how may times this happens. I bought a 5.3 pullout from a wreck and my map sensor looked just like that. I had to get a new manifold since it broke off the tabs and the power brake booster vacuum connection from the back of the manifold. Two of the wrecks at the pick a part had the same issue.
It looks like your motor suffered the same fate as many have. Make sure to check the manifold for other damage. My manifold ended up having a broken tab at the rear where the manifold bolts to the head.

I'm not sure they get all damaged in the wrecks, I think they are getting damaged when the engines are removed.
At one local yard every engine they had showed the same exact damage which makes me wonder... I'm sorry but when 2/3 of the engines have the same coil pack on the back of the engine, the top of the intake and AC compressor damage they MIGHT want to look at their removal technique.

well see, ya take this chain and hook it to the motor, then on the other side to a school bus. you push the school bus off a cliff. if the chain slips off, keep tryin. then youre all set to sell. sometimes i'll tie the donor car to a big rock to act as an anchor, but if the car gets pulled off the cliff, it'll be alright. just lift if with a forklift and shake it til the engine falls out hahah
