Pontiac G8 2008-2010 - lifter failier here is my pics who all has had this problem

Are you replacing your own or is gm doing it? I you are was there anyother issues other then the lifter? How many miles on it?

they are fixing it since its under warrenty its got 54,000 miles on the clock and i know since i got it 250 miles on the clock the lifters have lost prime and ticked about 6 times up to 2 days worth i drove it from angleton tx back to philadeplhia ms with it ticking they are replaceing the cam and lifters and maybe some cam bearings

after they get it fixed i may be doing a dod delete very soon maybe that will help a little
