300 bucks sound like a good deal?
do you think I will benefit from this or will it hurt
this is with 1 7/8 th's obx headers a maggie and muffler delete, thats it
thanks, i just havent a clue when it comes to cams

That's not a huge cam but you will see gains. 117+2 lsa would be great for the blower and would sound stock. That price isn't too bad for springs and cam depending on how many miles are on it.

Well if your on a budget, there is a big difference between 650 and 300! I wouldn't have a problem running used springs IF i knew what car they cam off of and how they drove it. You said its out of your buddies car so you should know his driving habits to an extent. Its your call!

Measure the spring pressure @ installed height, if they check out, run em. An easy task for any machine shop.
The cam, maybe not optimal, but by no means will it not be beneficial. That cam will idle like stock... and will get you ide say a good 40rw with the blower.
Either way, you can't go wrong. Have the springs checked tho...

We're currently offering any Comp cam for $399 shipped. This includes custom-spec'd cam grinds by GSS which we back with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. $300 is a good deal on that cam, but as my my wife says "just because it's a good deal, doesn't mean it's a good deal for us". You'll see better results with a custom grind cam and we'll guarantee you'll be happy with it.

Good cam choice and 500 rwhp is attainable...
If you haven't beefed your rear end yet... you will be doing so forcefully soon.
