Default larger duration EPS numbers?

im looking for people that have a larger duration EPS cam. high 230s-mid to high 240s duration. i wana see some dyno numbers for these cams. the smaller ones make such good power, i bet the bigger ones are just crazy!
so post your results please.

Thankyou, joseph

I started working on installing my 238/250 .603/.596 110+4 eps cam today in my nova. Damn pen magnet broke off on top of a lifter though. May have to pull head to get it off. If i do, im just gonna freshen up the rings while im that far

I'm subbed for this as well. I have an EPS .238/.242, .604/.605 on a 112+4 going in an LQ4 shortblock with PRC 2.5 LS6 heads as we speak (rest of combo is in sig). Hopefully I'll have the motor and trans back in the car within a week, and everything running and tuned in the next 2-3.

62cc heads on top of the lower compression LQ4 gives you around 10.5:1? If so, that's a lot cheaper and easier than finding a LQ9. Very interested to see your results.

If you are gonna get one of Goeff's cams for a 402ci just spend the extra $25.00 and get a custom cam cut for it. This is to make sure you are making the most power with your setup. Or you can get Patrick G to spec it for you. Good luck.

I had a cam spec'd by Geoff for my 416 and its 240/251 637/620 114. Motor is still being put together by engine builder. Hopefully to have my car running by the summer. The cam is more for the nitrous also.

Factory 65-66 cc heads on a lq9 give you 10.5:1 so It will be more like 10:1 with an lq4

Yes indeed, and that's with a stock head gasket.

I have seen a few bigger duration(236+) eps cams posted in the dyno section over the last year... gains are not as impressive as the 22x in a stock headed ls1... must be deminishing returns caused by the stock heads. I wouldnt ever go into the 230's unless I had a killer set of heads anyways.
