Maybe not your cup of tea but I hated the feeling of the trim around the shifter.

Got the fake carbon fiber from Autozone for about $15.
Should be about an extra 15hp on this ricer mod.

I was thinking the same....On a real note, it's gotta look a TON better than the 20% of the stock crap that's left on mine.

mine still looks the same. its not peeling or anything. then again it just sits in the garage all week long til it's time to make a liquor store on saturday! haha

if they make it in brushed aluminum i'm doing it. that looks really good, i think it'll look even better in a black interior.

although I thought about it, and since the lip of the shifter is already aluminum, i think aluminum would be lame. I plan on grabbing some CF today if my transmission isn't done.
