Default whats the original color???

my buddy has a silver 1998 ws6 but the other day he was hit by a pt cruser and needs to repaint the bumber where do we find the paint code.

Driver door or glove box. Should be one of the ones listed below. Depending on the software they use you may need to take out the WA part. Mine is a NBM and our software at work would make me put in 352E. Ignore the Clearcoat 13 crap, you don't need that.

This should be the right one.

It's called Bright Silver Metallic on the Pontiacs though.

Hmm, I didn't know it mattered whether it's Pontiac or not. At work it's ALL GMC products and doesn't differentiate so wouldn't matter to me lol. Cool info though, I'll have to remember that.


Edit: Name means nothing to me, the code was all that mattered so as long as they're the same it wouldn't affect me.

alright i just took a look and its 9566 so would i say bright metalic silver or the Sebring Silver Metallic or would it even matter

Shouldn't matter as far as I know. It will depend on their software though. Like WS6 said though, call it Bright Silver Metallic just to make sure if the guys a moron.

Makes no difference. I only mentioned it as a point of reference, because you might see that color described/listed under either name. But, as you can see by the code, they are the same.
