My TPIS 90mm conversion with pics
To make a long story short what started out as just replacing my radiator turned out to be some modding. since i had drained the coolant from the engine i decided to go ahead and order me a 160 degree t-stat.....and since i was getting a t-stat i figured i'd get a lpe cai too......along with an ls2 tb and the ls6 to ls2 tb harness. then i sent my ls6 intake to TPIS so they could cut off the ls6 snout and put a 90mm snout. Anyways, i got it all back together tonite! finally after 4 weeks!

I went with the lingenfelter cai so I had to reuse the stock intake pipe. Not to mention I had to drill a hole on the intake pipe for the hose that leads to the valve cover.

I can help you with a new tube. Save up for the LPE MAF and get one of these made... not trying to jack your thread just give you options.
Well worth the intake and throttle body mod and would do it again.
Thanks to StageUp and our first fuel line fabrication and tune.

I did look around for a fast 90 but couldn't find one so I said **** it and went this route instead. We'll see in a couple of weeks if it was worth it when I go to get it tuned, I'm now waiting on my p&p tb to get here. I can tell a big difference when I floor it. I didn't want to spend too much cause I'm gonna be getting rid of the car in a year or so.

That's true. I did alot of research on this over on the corvette forum. Alot of guys have gone this route with success. I did read that the fast 90 would leak and crack.

You hit the nail on the head with that one. Stripped insert, cracked snout, over-ported #2, 5 & 7. I have spent two weeks fixing my used purchase. Wasn't worth it. 150 more could have got me a new 102 and TB.

Im sure you will notice some power. I noticed a nice bit when i opened my ls6 mouth to 85mm and added a ported 85mm tb. on my old setup.
Almost went tpis route till i found fast 78 used for 500 sold my 85mmls6 for 350 then ported the fast and opened it up to 85 and felt a nice difference again.
Unless you have heads id say the ls6 is the way to go. The only thing really restricting it was the small mouth 78mm mouth it still was able to outflow the ls2 90mm
