Helping a friend of mine put a few mods on her 2010 SS L99 and was just curious to see with the mods we are doing what track times could she expect.
For now corsa catback, cat delete, kooks headers, roto fab cold air, underdrive pulley, tune
The later plans call for a Procharger
Thanks

L99's have run as fast as 12.2 with those mods. I would expect an average of 12.7-12.5

Im obviously new to the 5th Gens but what would it take to get one in mid 11's? Bolt ons, cam and converter? She doesnt want to do anything to the motor internally. Just bolt ons and a pro charger down the road.

How effective is putting a bigger gear in those things? Is the IRS weak like the 4th Gen 10 bolts?

The axles are the weak link with the 5th gen. Output shafts are iffy on early build numbers. To get into the 11's cam, gear, converter will do the trick. You can skip the cam and go with a procharger.

for the L99 I would not worry about the shaft.....LS3 A6, for sure.....

I have gone 12.35 with those mods, now have a convertor so should be in the 11's but I wont know because the heads and cam are being installed.
