Default 09 CTS-V Base and Mod results...

Coming out of the screen name hibernation to post Its been many years since I have posted on here.

Reading all these posts about the success everyone has had with their 09+ CTS-V with just a pully and a tune, I decided to do the same thing this week.

So in short.. dynoed 455 / 445 base.

Did a pully, tune, ported sc plennium

Final numbers;

539 / 542 (STE, wheels)

Vegas air sucks here, and it was humid and hot.. but still, I don't think those are bad at all!

The car drives just like I did when I brought it to the shop. I can hear the SC more, and the boost shows at about 12.5. It seems much stronger, but honestly hard to tell for some reason. Maybe I don't get on it enough?!?!

Hope this link shows ... FaceBook image download.

Badass man! I love these new V's, just can't justify a $70k garage queen.

You should take into consideration, LV, that people know more about their cars and their car habits than other people do, and that there might be reasons behind why people do what they do. Other people should be smart enough to figure that out too. Go figure on that one, huh?

Good numbers. Did you do a CAI or airbox mod? My pulley/tune car picked up about a half pound of boost with the airbox mod.

Actually, although a few dealers are discounting these cars, they are not discounting them very much. And as always, cars are always cheaper on the right coast, and that is very typical of the new Cad CTS-V's too.

You should take into consideration, shadyLS6, that people know more about their cars and their car habits than other people do, and that there might be reasons behind why people do what they do. Other people should be smart enough to figure that out too. Go figure on that one, huh?

take this for what you will, but when i made my comment i didnt see your sig and just picked 09 and 2000 miles out of the blue. one since 09 was the first yr of the v2 and 2000 because i remember someone buying an 04 v1 a few months ago with that low miles.

now saying that you are free to do what you will with your car, doesnt make it any less sad something that robust spends time sitting.

I totally agree & understand, LV, but I have very logical & specific reasons for mine having been a garage queen for the 1st 2 years of its life.
I bought my turbo Buick bone stock, garaged & covered its whole life from the original owner with only 8100 miles on the clock in Sept of 2003. It now has 28.5K miles on it and still looks virtually showroom new.
