Default Noise from rear end after oil flush normal?

Just had a shop change oil on the camaro's 10bolt.

The car drives great but noticed a toilet flush kinda noise on acceleration. I'm 100% sure it's coming from the rear.

Is this normal after a fresh oil and will the sound go away?

I'm hoping they didn't skimp out on the oil?

the gears aren't chattering though

Did the Shop use Synthetic Gear Oil ?? If you want to put in the Additive, just drain off about 4 to 6 ozs. of Gear Oil and Top it off.

I used Red Line Synthetic 75W90 Differential Fluid ( Part # 90-205)
( Holds approx. 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 Quarts )

1 Bottle of GM Rear Differential Additive. GM Part number 1052358

Many of the Top Oil / Lube guys say that the GM Additive isn't necessary with Synthetic Gear Oil but that it will help with noise and chatter.

LS Additive in Royal Purple. Umm, no...Who told you that ? It does have a friction Modifier in it tho.

Royal Purple states that Max-Gear outperforms other gear oils because it combines the highest quality synthetic oils with Royal Purple’s proprietary Synslide additive technology.

If you use Synthetic Gear Oil ( I prefer Red Line or Amsoil ), the GM Additive is not required but why wouldn't you put it in for only $ 8.00 a bottle ?

I too have also heard that the Ford Additive works better ? Not sure tho.
