Mustang hydraulic clutch conversion got my clutch set up done. Just throwing this out there to let others get a visual on another way to do it.
I used a 3/4 bore Wilwood master, a 1/4 aluminum plate and put it next to the booster. There was a hole there already, I just had to make it bigger.
Then I welded a 1 inch square tube to the pedal, with a bolt that was welded on the back side of the plate on the end.
I used a small rod end with left hand threads that were the same size as the rod coming out of the master and drilled and tapped a piece of square stock and welded a piece of left hand threaded rod to the end of the square stock, this made a small adjustable turnbuckle.
total $ under $60.00

Do you get alot of travel when depressing the clutch pedal. I tried to do mine lower on the pedal for a bigger arc swing. your set up is alot cleaner than mine, I like it alot.

Thanks guys.
I measured the swing, its 1 1/16, I can adjust it by 1/8 either way. the way it sits, it has a little less than the stock Mustang throw. I will paint it before final assembly.

The pedal height is the very close to when it was original. its about 1/2 inch lower. Right now I have 1 1/16 stroke, the master has a total of 1.40.

Link no work for me, why would pedal hieght be different, isnt this the stock clutch pedal or is this a Turbo Coupe pedal. Ive said before, Zipster you got skills....., wanna come help with my setup

My thought was IF he moved the pedal in / out to adjust for the throw it may be lower or simply uncomfortable.

The pedals I used were stock 5.0 Mustang clutch/brake pedals. I was able to lower the pedal just a touch because I am 6'4" and these fox Mustangs are a little tight for taller people. The link was just a diagram of Wilwoods specs on the clutch master I used. It stated 1.40 inches of travel is maximum for this master.

You make it look so easy Zipster. Maybe I will try your clutch actuating method as opposed to the Turbo Coupe pedal method. I did find a Turbo coupe pedal setup but could always sell it off if I dont use it

Zipster do you have any pics of the hard line go from the master cylinder to the tranny and how it hooks up to the T56? Can I assume you used part number 260-1304 from Wilwwod, did you oreder direct from them?

I dont have it connected to the trans just yet, I have to bend the hard line down around the steering column boot. then I have a fitting that goes from the brake line to -4 there is a rubber coated hanger that holds it to the body. Then a small SS flex line to the slave cylinder. Yes the master is the Wilwood 260-1304. I got it from ebay was around $40.00 shipped

The info came from the instructions and their web site, I just checked Wilwoods site about your master, nothing listed. You might need to call their tech line.

looks great i wish i could use this for my 97 Cobra but i dont think it will work
im in the process of using ls1 trans am 2002 pedal assembly and mcloed adjustable master cylinder (freebie ) it was already on the car at my salvage yard.. i just might try and see if i cant fab the fox pedals in

I used a 1995 brake booster, I had to drill out one of the holes because it also bolts in the pedals. I would bet the fox pedals would/can work.
Oh, wait. doesn't the 97 Cobra have hydraboost? I would have to see the way it bolts into the car. It might work.

yes hyrdraboost.. which i want to keep.. the booster location is the same on
