Default Do I need a fp regulator

I did the diy twin pumps and have had issues, last weekend I pulled the pumps out because I was having a low idle fuel pressure and then under boost the perssure dropped alot (down to 30psi) I found that my line was pinched shut on the second pump. I fixed that put everything pack together and the idle pressure is fine but as soon as I got into boost today the pressure dropped from 60 to a little above 40 by the time I let out of it. The second pump is a walbro 255 gs340 the primary is a racetronix pump. I never had this much pressure drop when I had just the single race tronix pump I just did not have enough fuel and it was going lean on the dyno, but ever since I added the second pump my pressure drops bad as soon as the second pump kicks in. the pump is wired independently and works off of a hobbs switch set for 6ps, you can put air to the switch whil the car is off and hear the pump turn on. Any suggestions?
