Default Oil cooler question

Hey guys,

I bought a Derale High Capacity "oil" cooler for my 87 GTA when I had it, but never installed it and now I would like to put it in my 99 T/A.

My question is... Can I use this oil cooler as a Transmission cooler instead? I'm more in need of a Tranny cooler than an oil cooler at this point. Will the rubber hoses be fine with ATF running through them instead of oil?

Or should I bite the bullet and get a actual tranny cooler? Thx.

Default

Well tranny fluid is alot hotter coming out the converted than oil so if it has the compacity to deal with the heat I see no problems.
