Went my new PB with the 98 camaro today on a wet 100 shot. I am still on the NA tune, so I just sprayed the 100 instead of 150 to be safe first time out. It was mid 70's today and the DA was 2500-2600 on my weather station.

Motor Pass:
1.76 60'
7.9 @ 87.25 - 1/8
12.44 @ 110.14 - 1/4

100 Shot
1.49 60'
7.51 @ 95.78 - 1/8
11.24 @ 119.5 - 1/4

I had the FJO Controller to spray 3000-6000 in 1,2, and 3rd. It was hitting the revlimiter about 1150' with the 4.10's. Seemed like the rev limit was set about 6400. Not for sure since I don't have much info on the motor tune. I'd like to bump it up a little later, but wanted to be safe and shot off the spray at 6000.

One big problem is the convertor in the car. It flashes about 3000 and I can stall it up to about 2600 before it wants to push the car. So with the low side rpm setting on 3000, it takes the car just a foot or so before the kit comes on. I'm thinking 4000 stall will help the car out a lot. Its a .581 TSP cam, LTs, ls6 intake, 9" with 4:10's, stock TB, Stock lid, AC Delete, full weight street car on pump gas.

The suspension is double adj AFCO's front and back with a wolfe anti-sway and madman LCA/swaybay. Seems to be dead hooking and pulled the tires a few inches on the 100 shot when I got up on the convertor hard staging.

I'm going to play around with the 100 shot and would like to get it in the 10's. But if I can find that in the tune-up, I will start pulling timing and move up to a 125 or 150. This is off the fuel rail with a stock pump so I don't want to push my luck on the bigger pills without a few upgrades.

Your first pass, the car left lazy, so it seems that the converter, and/or something else is hurting you on motor alone. With that cam and 4.10s, you should be running 11s without the bottle. Go with a 4000 stall like you mentioned, unless you plan on spraying a much larger shot in the near future.

I agree about it being lazy on motor getting out of the hole. It makes .3 or .4 difference depending on launch rpm. Its like the convertor is too low and it takes the car about 30ft to start getting up on power for some reason.

When my innovate A/F logger worked correctly, I recorded a few motor runs and the tune looked good so I'm betting 90% of the problem is with the convertor.

I'm going to talk to PTC and probably go with a 4000 stall and maybe swap cam and springs. Something like a MS3.
