Default hu help needed

I am interested in getting the kenwood kdc-mp442u head unit. Is there a way to make it so I can still use the buttons on the steering wheel?

Get the PAC SWI-JACK and you'll be good to go. The Kenwood unit has a plug in the back that takes this adaptor to translate your controls from the steering wheel.

If you want to customize the buttons on the wheel you can also go with the PAC SWI-X that sends the signal to the radio thru IR (like a remote).

No prob.

BTW - here's what it looks like installed with my Kenwood deck as well. It's hard to see but below TransAm is Pontiac etched in the plate. Had it for over 6 years and love this HUmount.
