Default kinetik 1800?

I am putting a kicker system with a zx1500.1 amp and 2 12' L7's and need to add a battery. If I take out my current battery will the kinetik 1800 fit right in? also the same with a high output alternator, will it just replace the factory one in the same place?

With a high output alternator you really don't need to run a battery like that. A quality battery like Bosch or Optima would work just as well.
With a big three upgrade, high output alternator and a quality regular battery you would be fine on that amp.

The Kinetik battery will fit if you trim the battery tray and extend your wires.

sub thump's 2 12's box with t-top port, not to expensive and drops right in. The reason I asked is because the kicker guy I was talking with said I would need a new battery and alternator to ensure my electronics will not be lacking in power?

Yea, i would just go with an optima. Maybe even a larger alternator. The only reason is if you are underpowered when your subs are trying to peak on every hit your headlights and cabin lights can dim and eventually wear down your battery.

true story. Seen my friend's civic do it on dark back roads with the subs on, it looked like he was switching between hi/low-beam.

Guys...you want to do a better alternator and the battery second...unless of course your battery is already on it's way out. Your alternator is what is powering your system after the car is started....not the battery. People mistakenly put too much focus on the battery. If you plan on sitting in a parking lot with the car off and the radio on then you need a better battery...possibly a couple if you plan on sitting for hours on a high power system with the car off.
Remember, during SPL competition your car is ON and generally revving to 2000rpm for maximum performance.
In most cases you just need a better alternator....160amps or more....200 is generally more then sufficient. A quality regular battery will be good with that. While doing the alternator a good idea is to upgrade your big 3 wires as well to enhance the performance of the output of the alternator.

Thanks kee's really appreciate it. I will definetly throwdown on a new 200 amp alternator and be doing the big 3 upgrade, now if you could elaborate on how exactly I would upgrade the big 3 like with specific products, and location of the wires it would be very helpfull.
