Default stroker suggestions

well, i got confirmation im going to afghan in the next few months so i started thinking about the obvious.....my car.

its a 2002 ws6 and a lot of my friends suggested a blower but the 6k price tag along with the supporting mods made it a nonoption.

ditto for turbos, longblocks, turnkeys. my last car had nitrous which was great but it was a power adder for the track only.

so i think i can afford a stroker. id like something high revving with 450-500 whp, manageable for 3-4 a days a week of city driving.

what do u think?

I agree. In my opinion a 408 c.i motor is one of the best bang for the buck setups in a 4th gen car. Give us a call or PM me and we can get an estimate sent to you.

Ditto on the 383, one advantage is the aluminum block saves you about 90 lbs. over a 408

You'll spend an easy 6k+ on a proper stroker. You can make 450+ from a well built stock cube LS1.

ya, ive added numbers both ways. the blower on low psi made 93 horsepower with stock heads, internals etc. this was the procharger. and it was 6k without install, tuning, upgrading rear end, suspension etc.

i think i could do a 383 (do they have a 392 for the ls1?) Im used my my 5.7 hemi which had that option. anyway, i could do that for 5-6k installed and still make the same numbers
