Northwest Members - no e10?

I was on my way to work today and found a gas station in wa that doesnt sell e10, I think premium was 3.70 too. so its cheaper and better. I was kinda wondering though, would i see any difference in running non e10 gas over e10 gas?

If you are talking just regular premium gasoline with no ethanol added you should have no real negative side affects running that. I know the ethanol is harder on certain rubber and has actually caused issues with some quad dirt bike fuel lines. If I could buy it with no ethanol especially cheaper I would run that over the gas ethanol blend, just my opinion though.

i was wondering if pure gas would make my car run better than e10, since they were designed using pure gas rather than e10 ( i assume)

I run pure gas in the G8 and Camaro since I use a card lock right now. I have not really noticed a difference but IMO pure gas is better than the e10.

Pure gas has more energy content per molecule. The stoich AFR is also 14.7 versus e10's AFR of 14.13 at stoich. The difference is negligible though.

Where did you find the premium gasoline with no ethanol added in Washington?

A place called Kamelchee, its in shelton near the casino.

I run the E10 in mine. Notice a slight difference. Mainly on the spray.
