has been on traffic and i try to punch, my car hesitates to accelerate. No

engine light is on? What could it be? 93 trans am A4 auto 108,000 miles.

When i accelerate normal or slowly it works fine, but when i punch it, it

hesitates and goes but it feels like its going to turn off and then goes?

Its an auto so i cant hit the rev limiter unless i drop it to first and play with

it. Most of the times i leave it in overdrive(4th gear). I can only feel it when

there car has ran for a while and i try to punch it and it hesitates real

bad.Say im going 65 on the freeway, and then i punch it, it feels like it wants

to turn off and then goes and then it hesitates again, but when i accelerate

normal it works fine. My fans turn on, it has a new water pump, and a new

radiator, idk it feels like it looses power?

Yeah i think your right. What would i look for when i take off the cap? Could it be just the cap or the whole opti?

If it is just the cap, do i just buy the cap and rotor kit?

As for the maf sensor, it doesnt have one since its an 93 speed density.

Yes I have that one and it works well. Others will likely tell you ACDelco but those are around 300. I've ran a chandler motorsports opti for 3 years now and its worked great.

Ill just say that autozone also has one for a decent price and has a lifetime warranty so no matter what happens they will swap it out. I have used one for over 4yrs no problems. Im not sure if that unit comes with the cap and rotor but if it does thats a crazy cheap price, and if you do have issues with it you only have 30 day warranty, vs a life time just saying.

Which one has 30 day warranty? The autozone is the one you have used for 4 years? If i do need to change the opti what would I also have to change the spark plug wires connected to the opti? which wires do i get?

ok thanks for clearing that up. i hate those ones cause when they heat up they dont fire as good, there cheap and if you try and pull a plug when its kinda warm the boot will just slip right off the wire

Check this out. The wire fconnected from the opti to the igntion coil had two slitts. It was not fully slit, but could this be a problem
