Im going to be using a miller 175 mig. I have room in the box and my question is what wire do i need to use. It uses a 3 prong cord so do i need wire with 2 insulated hots and a bare ground or 2 insulated hots an insulated neutral and a bare ground. 10 gauge is correct for use with a 30a braker right.

Just looked it up and it pulls 19.5 amps at 230 volts. So your good to use #10 wire with a 30 amp 2-pole breaker. Pull 2 #10 hots(one black, one red) and a #10 ground(green).

Hope that helps.

I ended up using 10-2 wire. its fine to have the bare ground right.
