Not sure if I should post this hear or Appearance...figured here, since it's 'bird specific.

Anyway, I was thinking of doing something to change up the exterior of my Formula. I've had it going on 4 years, and other than rear fill ins and WS6 Speedlines, haven't done anything to it exterior wise.

I was thinking of going with some sort of racing stripes, or maybe a hood Bird.

So if you've got them, post 'em up!!

Seems like the stripes look good on a WS6 hood, but I don't see them often on a sleak beak.

And the hood 'Bird....say what you will, I personally think they're bitchin'. However, as that was always a Trans Am thing, is it wrong to put one on a Formula?

Maybe instead go with the 70's style "FORMULA" rocker decals?

Any suggestions?

Wow, that is sexy!

I think I like the current look a little better. That hood bird is cool, but I'm not a huge fan of the 3rd genBird. I think I'd go with a 2nd gen hood Bird.

Are those stripes paint or vinyl? That's definitely something different, I've never seen that before. I like the colors.

And what wheels are those? ZR1's? The red stripe is a nice touch.

They are painted on(flat black w/ red pinstripe, and the wheels are Kyowa-Evolve 18x8/18x9..................

That's cool, I really like that effect on the black car. How hard was that to apply, other than the wrinkling center piece? And i think it actually probably looks better that way.

And that white T/A looks sick! Every time I se a white one it alwasy makes me wish mine was white. I love my NBM, but there's just something about these in white.

I was thinking about this color for the hood Bird... I know this color is lighter than NBM, but I think it would still look pretty good. Maybe add a matching one on the rear filler and a matching colored overlay on the front plate filler.

i don't think that blue bird would look to good on a nmb. i've got a black one like rabbits got, but mine has the center fill, and i havent put it on yet. still waitin for the rain to stop for over a week so i can straighten up my clear coat. my car's nmb, so when i put mine on, i'll post some pics of it.

blackbird stripes

I briefly had this metallic grey bird to match my interior. I like it better now that it's gone, much cleaner.

I'm not a fan of the phoenix on the 4th gens.
