Exclamation Rocker arm fracture? Pics inside

Working on installing my EFI connection coil/bracket and noticed through the oil fill hole a slight crack or flash on the rocker arm. Pulled the cover off and found two w/ this. SO, how serious is this? It appears all the way through but then again unsure. The 1st rocker in the pic is loose so I wiggled it to see if it was totally compromised and doesn't appear to be but still. Anyone seen this before?

STOP! Do not restart till it is fixed. Make sure you check piston to valve, coil bind, and rocker travel

Thanks, figured it was what I thought. Good thing she ain't running to begin w/. LOL It came off the dyno late last summer, went in the garage and went to restart it a couple weeks back and the opti died. Perfect timing. 1K on them. Engine built back in 06 but don't get to mess w/ it much from always working on it or something broke. LOL

I want some Comp mags. What ya got Greg?

I have Ultra Pro Mags 1.6 7/16 stud NSA.

Very little time on them.

The Ultras are a lot better design than the older ones imo. Lighter and more rigid.

They have Comps lifetime warranty too

Yea I wouldn't start the engine before that's fixed. I assume you have some significant seat pressure with the engine being setup for boost and might have led to the fracture you see. I would hope the ultra mags won't have any issues....mainly because I have them on my new build lol. Good thing you caught it before it became a big problem.

Yeah, no ****. May have become a REAL expensive issue vs what it is right now. Makes me wonder how long I've been ridng w/ like that.

+1 on the Ultra Pro Mags... Especially with the street use I know you have planned. Replied to your PM on PCLSx.

What? Put those POS on ebay knowing they're jacked up? Nah, can't do that. May sell the remaining 6 but hell, I haven't even lifted the ds vc yet. Who know's what's going on that side. LOL

i think he meant call comp and have them replace the bad ones, then turn around and just sell them on ebay. I dont think he meant to sell them as is and list them as fine. I could be wrong though. Im not into screwing people like that.

This. Comp is pretty good about replacing broken parts.
