Kicker vs Bazooka for sail panel
I have been looking to upgrade my sail panel speakers and have been looking at the kee audio bazookas and the Kicker 10CVT654. Im not even sure if the kicker will work, the mounting depth for the kicker is 2 13/16". But basically what I am asking is which one would you guys reccommend and would the kicker fit?

I have been running the Kickers for about a year now, the impedance is wrong, but I have had no isses with overheating the amp or anything. They sound a hell of alot better than the stock, but they still sound like 6.5"s if you know what I mean. No miracles or anything. I am adding a L7 10" within the next week or so to finally give me some real bass.

Ya I know they're not going to hit that hard but anything is better than stock. I'm going to upgrade speakers first then I'm going to put in a sub with a stealth box if just speakers leave me wanting more

New speakers won't give you any more bass. They will only make the bass sound better. The amount of sound coming and frequency response of the speaker is largely limited to the power going in to the speaker and the size of the speaker itself.
If you want to rip your spot welds apart, etc. you'll need to go with a box.

Ya I know I won't get more bass I guess I should change my question to which one would give me better sound. One thing I like about the kickers is the specs for peak power and the rms are the same as the alpine components I have for the fronts so if I decide to replace my monsoon amp I can make a pretty good jump In power and not have to worry about replacing one or the other

I just put a set of Boston s65 in the sails and the made a HUGE difference in bass. I alson put the s45's in the back. I would like to put the s45's in the doors but the monsoon is wired so funky that I might have to use components there.

how many record holders use bazooka? none its just a crappy product anymore.. 10 years ago yes i would have ran bazooka.. just like i would have run lanzar... today not so much.. hell even cadence.. if you can find some OLD cadence Run them.. i loved my wildbeast 15s hell they slapped harder than my old kove Armageddons. i get my info from experience and well running these products
