Wink 8.8 in a F-Body

i read a while back that a company was selling 8.8 ford rears for f-body can anyone point me in the right direction

Never heard that one,,,why would you want the 8.8? There are plenty companies making 9 inches that fit great and handle the power.

The guy is from canada IIRC and he goes by CAM on here. He charges 1k for a set up housing and the you get a salvage rear out of an explorer or something and swap the guts over. I think you also have to buy axles....

I see him post in the Gen IV forum mainly...

well I may be new to this forum but Ive been racing for many many years and the 9 inch is great but heevy and robs power , 12 boltsw cool to but the 8.8 has alot of parts out there for reasonable pricing,,,,idk I puting project together and was weighing options
