Exclamation

1983-1988 Monte Carlo SS and The Olds G bodys look nice and an LSX would help them run as good as they look. IMO

Do you access to E-85?

If you do you can run a higher CR and make more HP N/A.

The highest octane pump gas out here is 93 and I've never seen E-85 AT THE PUMP.

I might have an LSx in a g-body. I would go EFI, its cheaper than a carb (when you add in the carb intake, and whatever your going to do for spark control)

Theres a bunch of pics on my f-quick account.

I heard they sell them in 2" primarys what size are yours I really don't care for ceramic but if trays all they sell them in ill just have to buy them. I was thinking bout putting the rusty manifolds on but come on we all know ill be choking the hell out the motor lol.

Depending on where your engine sits in your frame, some mounts move engine forward or back, the f body headers may fit or may not. I have john b. mounts on my g body and hooker f body headers which had to be modified to fit. I brought the whole car to a muffler shop that i know and they rerouted two tubes on the passenger side to fit. The drivers side dropped right in. In the long run i probably paid the same as you would for brp headers but when i did my swap they were not available then. If you buy the brp mounts then the brp headers will fit.

Well the whole kit is $1200 and Im on a budget like most people. I just hope they will still fit with the stock clamshell mounts with out banging them up.

A couple of years ago someone posted on here how much they had to smash the passenger side f body header to fit in, it wasnt worth even putting them on they were so closed, thats why i had a muffler shop that has built headers modify my pass side. There was also someone else on here that said his pacesetters fit without any modifications. All depends where your engine is mounted. If you try them and they dont fit have the tubes moved before you smash them closed
