I'd first check for a broken oil pressure sensor. If its intact, then it has to be an internal problem. If you take the timing cover off and the oil pump pick-up tube o-ring looks good, then I would check for objects in the oil pan.

What was done to the motor? There have countless times on this forum (and I have experienced it as well) that the pick-up tube o-ring is either bad, wasn't replaced, or simply isn't seated properly. It could have gotten sucked up.

Was the oil pump replaced? Removed? New O-ring installed?

If your gauge is broken, you could always try removing the oil filter, putting a bucket under there, and turn it over very briefly. If oil comes spewing out, you have pressure.

I got a question? I took off everything and the o ring on the pick up tube is still there? So? When it was installed could it just have been on in some messed up way? Or is the problem something else.

i'd say it's probalby somewhere else. usually even if the o-ring is totally missing there will still be a little oil pressure (like 10lbs.). posibly a broken oil presure sending unit? that's what i would try next.

I figured it out! The valve release was fkin clogged full of bs.. the d/as that built my motor put some kind of lubrication in the oil pump and it was all in the valve relase. It was like gluey and thats y i t aint pumpin. I called Joesph at TSP he helped me out big time. I owe my life to them.
